SikaEmaco® T 1100 TIX

Thixotropic, plastic concrete repair mortar — for trowel application on horizontal and sloped substrates. It features shrinkage-compensating properties and high strength.

SikaEmaco® T 1100 TIX is a one-component, fast-setting repair mortar with thixotropic properties, classified as R4 in accordance with the requirements of EN 1504-3.

The product is supplied as a dry, factory-prepared mix. The formula is based on sulphate-resistant Portland cement (HSR LA) and hydraulic binders, combined with sands with optimized grading. It also contains PAN polymer fibers (polyacrylonitrile) and modifying additives that ensure rapid strength gain — also at temperatures below 0°C, limited drying shrinkage, and increased durability under service conditions.

After mixing with water, a plastic, thixotropic consistency is obtained, intended for manual application. The mortar can be placed in layers with a thickness of 10–150 mm, maintaining good stability on inclined surfaces.

Applications of SikaEmaco® T 1100 TIX:

  • bedding of small and medium manhole frames,
  • installation and bedding of kerbs and paving blocks,
  • repairs of horizontal surfaces,
  • repairs of sloped surfaces,
  • indoor and outdoor works,
  • applications at low temperatures,
  • applications in demanding conditions where very short downtime / out-of-service periods are required.

Approximate consumption: to prepare 1 m3 of fresh mortar, approx. 1950 kg of SikaEmaco® T 1100 TIX is required.

One 25 kg bag yields approx. 12.9 l of mortar (actual yield depends on the amount of mixing water).

Delivery: 3–5 business days.
