Rompox 1505 V2PL is a professional grout for paving stones, natural stone, etc., based on a two-component epoxy resin and quartz filler. The grout is characterized by a compressive strength of 3.5 to as much as 40 metric tons. It is the best choice wherever there is heavy vehicle traffic.
Using a larger amount of Rompox 1505 V2PL resin in the mortar provides greater compressive strength and lower water permeability. When using 3 kg of resin per 25 kg of sand, the mortar can be used in areas subject to extremely high mechanical loads.
Rompox 1505 V2PL mortar for paving and stone joints is ideal for grouting road surfaces, plazas, parking lots, bus bays, sidewalks, and more - especially where there are medium to heavy levels of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Rompox 1505 V2PL Grout has an IBDiM National Technical Assessment (check certificate), confirming the mortar’s suitability for use in transportation infrastructure construction. The product can be used for jointing concrete, stone, and clinker pavers on roads and pedestrian walkways, particularly in areas exposed to medium and heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Rompox 1505 V2PL mortar for stone and pavers has been tested for frost resistance after 150 freeze-thaw cycles, as well as for resistance to de-icing salts. After testing in a 2% NaCl solution, no damage to the mortar was observed. Low capillary absorption and limited water permeability further contribute to the durability of the joints.
