Paint for furniture - RD-Aquatop PU
RD-Aquatop PU furniture paint is a modern, quick-drying (touch-dry and recoatable after just 1 hour), water-based, single-component polyurethane enamel with high resistance to abrasion, moisture, and UV radiation. The enamel creates an aesthetic and easily washable finish on the substrate. Its high resistance to moisture allows RD-Aquatop PU to be used on countertops exposed to spills and on furniture that is frequently washed with water and neutral detergents.
RD-Aquatop PU furniture paint can be used on indoor and outdoor furniture. Thanks to its high UV resistance, the paint does not yellow, chalk, or fade. As a rule, it also does not leave streaks.
The paint has excellent adhesion to wood, OSB boards, MDF boards, laminates, hard PVC, and paint coatings.

Capacity:
Why does the can say that there is only 0.99 l, 0.97 l, or 0.93 l of paint?
The total volume of paint consists of the volume of the base and the volume of the pigment.
- The base volume for a 1 l package is as follows: base A 0.99 l, base B 0.97 l, base C 0.93 l.
- The pigment volume for a 1 l package:
- for light colors (base A and B), approx. 1-5% pigment is added,
- for dark colors (base C), approx. 5-10% pigment is added.
The total volume depends on the color, but is very close to 1 l.
The exact volume of a 1 l package, depending on the color, is presented in the table on the right/below.
The volume of 5 l and 10 l packages differs analogously.
Gloss:
RD-Aquatop PU in white and pastel colors has a higher gloss (approx. 80 for gloss, approx. 40 for satin, approx. 10 for matte) than RD-Aquatop PU in dark colors (approx. 60 for gloss, approx. 20 for satin, <10 for matte).
