RD-Aquatop PU is a single-component (1K), water-based topcoat for metal and steel structures that have been primed with suitable primers (e.g., Monoguard, Elastometal, or Multiprim). The paint is based on a mixture of acrylic and polyurethane resins. It creates an aesthetic, smooth finish in gloss or satin, and is available in many RAL and NCS colors.
RD-Aquatop PU has good washability and resistance to abrasion and UV rays. The paint does not yellow, and the colors fade slowly. The fast drying time of RD-Aquatop PU allows for repainting after just 1 hour. The paint does not create streaks or runs when applied with a roller, brush, or spray. It has a PZH certificate confirming that it can be used in residential and public spaces, as well as in food production (without direct contact with food).

Why does the can say there is only 0.99 L, 0.97 L, or 0.93 L of paint?
The total paint volume consists of the base volume and the pigment volume.
The total volume depends on the color, but it is very close to 1 L.
The exact volume of the 1 L packaging depending on the color is presented in the table next to/below.
The volume of 5 L and 10 L packaging differs in the same way.
Gloss:
RD-Aquatop PU in white and pastel colors has a higher gloss level (approx. 80 for gloss, approx. 40 for satin, approx. 10 for matt) than RD-Aquatop PU in dark colors (approx. 60 for gloss, approx. 20 for satin, <10 for matt).
