Single-component paint in colors for terraces and balconies with light to medium traffic in apartments and houses.
RD-Aquatop PU is a modern, single-component, water-soluble polyurethane-acrylic paint with high resistance to scratches and abrasion. The paint is hard, dries quickly (touch-dry and recoatable after just 1 hour) and has excellent resistance to moisture and UV rays. Thanks to the addition of polyurethane, it creates an easily washable coating and retains its properties and color over a long period of time.
The paint for balconies and terraces is available in three finishes: gloss, satin, and non-slip satin. For the "non-slip satin" finish, the paint must be mixed with the Ultra Wear 400 non-slip additive included in the package. The additive consumption is 0.75 kg per 5 l of RD-Aquatop PU paint.

Applying paint to outdoor concrete is not easy. RD-Aquatop PU paint must be applied to a dry, well-prepared substrate. Otherwise, water stagnation penetrating through the paint into the concrete may, after turning into vapor, cause it to peel off. For the above reasons, RD-Aquatop PU is best used for Elastodeck terrace waterproofing.

Capacity:
White color: Packages contain 1 l, 5 l, and 10 l of paint.
Other colors: The manufacturer prepares bases with a capacity of: 0.9 l, 4.5 l, and 9 l. Pigment is added to the bases. For light colors, approximately 1-2% pigment is added. For dark colors, approximately 3-10% pigment is added. Therefore, the total volume of a 1 l set, depending on the selected color, ranges from 0.91 l to 1 l.
The exact volume of the 1 l set is presented in the file attached on the right. The volume of the 5 l and 10 l sets differs analogously.
Gloss:
RD-Aquatop PU in white and pastel colors has a higher gloss (approx. 80 for gloss, approx. 40 for satin, approx. 10 for matte) than RD-Aquatop PU in dark colors (approx. 60 for gloss, approx. 20 for satin, <10 for matte).
The addition of the UW400 anti-slip additive results in a more matte finish.
