Heat-resistant primer - TermoGrunt

TermoGrunt heat-resistant primer is an anti-corrosive primer based on silicone resin with stabilizing additives, pigmented with aluminum and zinc dust. The heat-resistant primer is designed to protect new, cleaned, or sandblasted steel surfaces. It allows for the application of TermoEmalia high-temperature paint.

TermoEmalia + TermoGrunt heat-resistant system – key properties:

excellent anti-corrosion protection and heat resistance
high thermal resistance - up to 600ºC
can be applied to hot surfaces without the need to cool them down
dries well and does not require baking
for use on new, cleaned, or sandblasted steel surfaces
easy application with a brush, roller, or airless spray
can be diluted with 5-10% by volume of heat-resistant paint thinner

Description

TermoGrunt heat-resistant primer, like heat-resistant enamel, can be applied to hot surfaces (up to 120ºC) without the need to cool them down completely. The product dries well at ambient temperatures and does not require preliminary thermal curing.
