Heat-resistant primer - TermoGrunt

TermoGrunt heat-resistant primer is an anti-corrosive primer based on silicone resin with stabilizing additives, pigmented with aluminum and zinc dust. The heat-resistant primer is designed to protect new, cleaned, or sandblasted steel surfaces. It allows for the application of TermoEmalia high-temperature paint.

TermoEmalia + TermoGrunt heat-resistant system – key properties:

  • excellent anti-corrosion protection and heat resistance
  • high thermal resistance - up to 600ºC
  • can be applied to hot surfaces without the need to cool them down
  • dries well and does not require baking
  • for use on new, cleaned, or sandblasted steel surfaces
  • easy application with a brush, roller, or airless spray
  • can be diluted with 5-10% by volume of heat-resistant paint thinner
