Frequently asked questions:

1. What is Pro-Netic magnetic board paint?

Pro-Netic is a paint that combines magnetic properties with a blackboard surface, allowing you to write with chalk or chalk markers and attach magnets to the painted surface.

2. How does Pro-Netic magnetic blackboard paint work?

The paint contains tiny iron particles that create a surface that attracts magnets. At the same time, it provides a blackboard finish that can be written on with chalk and is easy to clean.

3. How many coats of paint should be applied?

  • 4 coats – for light magnets
  • 8 coats – for stronger magnets

More coats increase the magnetic force.

4. On what surfaces can Pro-Netic magnetic blackboard paint be used?

The paint is suitable for walls, wood, and metal. The surface should be clean, smooth, and properly prepared (e.g., primed, if required).

5. Is the paint safe to use?

Yes, the paint is safe and low-emission (low odor, low VOC content). However, it is recommended to use it in a well-ventilated room and to read the product safety data sheet.

6. How do I clean a surface painted with this paint?

  • Use a damp cloth or sponge
  • For stubborn marks, use a solution of water and mild soap
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the surface

7. Can a surface painted with magnetic chalkboard paint be repainted?

Yes, you can repaint it with another paint if you no longer need the chalkboard properties. The magnetic properties may remain after applying another paint, depending on its nature and the number of Pro-Netic paint layers previously applied. It is recommended to sand the surface beforehand to level it and remove metal particles.

8. Is the paint available in different colors?

No – Pro-Netic magnetic blackboard paint is only available in black.

9. How long does the paint take to dry?

  • Touch dry: 30 minutes
  • Hard: 2 hours
  • Fully hard: 5–7 days

10. Can chalk markers be used on this paint?

Yes, chalk markers are compatible and often easier to clean than traditional chalk, giving more intense colors.
