DoPox® AquaCoat 30-11 - RAL colors from the mixer

On this page, you will find DoPox® AquaCoat 30-11 in custom RAL colors mixed using a tinting machine.

DoPox® AquaCoat 30-11 is a waterborne, two- or three-component epoxy coating with very high vapor permeability, intended for floors and walls. Thanks to its breathable properties and ability to allow water vapor to pass through, it reduces the risk of coating delamination and blister formation.

The two-component version - AquaCoat 30-11 - is intended for roller application, with a thickness of approx. 0.1–1 mm, dedicated to pedestrian traffic, vehicle traffic, or intensive forklift traffic (several forklifts up to 24 hours a day, depending on the system).

The three-component version - AquaCoat 30-11 SL - is self-leveling and smooth, with a thickness of approx. 1–2 mm, intended for very intensive forklift traffic (many forklifts, even up to 24 hours a day).

AquaCoat 30-11 can be used, among other things, as:

Colors from the tinting machine:

  • available from: 12 kg (AquaCoat 30-11 version) / 18 kg (AquaCoat 30-11 SL version),
  • lead time: approx. 1–2 days,
  • custom colors are non-returnable,
  • colors displayed on screen may differ from the factory colors,
  • AquaCoat 30-11, like other epoxy resins, has limited UV resistance. White color exposed to sunlight and heat may turn yellow over a long period of time.

Consumption: 0.2 kg/m2 per coat

Version for roller application AquaCoat 30-11

Self-leveling version AquaCoat 30-11 SL

High vapor permeability

High vapor permeability - microporous coatings formed during the curing process breathe and allow water vapor to pass through, making it possible to apply them to substrates with elevated moisture levels.

Durability

Durability - mechanical resistance for heavily loaded industrial floors with forklift traffic even up to 24 hours a day (in the appropriate system).

Safe product

Safe product - the resin is waterborne, contains no VOCs (0 g/l) or solvents, and therefore does not emit unpleasant odors during application.

Key properties:

Vapor permeability and mechanical resistance

  • has breathable properties and allows water vapor to pass through,
    so the applied coating does not delaminate and blisters do not form,
  • can be used on floors with forklift traffic,
    up to 24 h/day (in the appropriate system).

Versatility

  • allows water to be added in order to adjust flowability,
  • can be applied in several coats,
    to increase the coating thickness,
  • is ideal for painting floors and walls in basements, garages, parking areas, etc.

Application

  • application using a roller (30-11) or squeegee (30-11 SL),
  • applied in the first coat as a primer,
    (see systems),
  • can be used on fresh, damp, several-day-old concrete (7 days).

Safety

  • contains no VOCs (0 g/l),
    so it does not emit unpleasant odors during application,
  • contains no solvents
    the product is non-flammable during application.

Anti-slip properties

An additional advantage of AquaCoat 30-11 is the possibility of adding water to adjust flowability. Thanks to this, the product can be applied in the first coat as a primer. Usually, the amount of added water is 20-30% depending on the required flowability. The second coat can be applied without added water or with 5% added water (see systems).

Coating with high vapor permeability:

High vapor permeability means that work can begin when the concrete is hard enough to be properly prepared for the application of AquaCoat 30-11, i.e. grinding, shot blasting, etc. However, as a rule, for safety we recommend waiting 7 days from pouring the concrete before applying the system.

Coating tested in accordance with PN-EN 13036-4:

The anti-slip system for medium-duty use of AquaCoat 30-11 achieved a pendulum test value PTV of 72 in dry conditions and 64 in wet conditions in independent tests. Guidelines in the United Kingdom recommend a PTV value of 36 in dry, wet, and contaminated conditions.
