Tile varnish - Monovar PU

Monovar PU roof tile varnish creates a colorless protective layer on roof tiles, bricks, and concrete. Thanks to its very high moisture resistance, the impregnating agent provides excellent protection against changing weather conditions. It does not contain isocyanates, making it safe to use, even when applied by spraying.

Monovar PU forms a coating on the substrate and stops the growth of moss. In addition, the varnish dries quickly, taking only 2 hours to become touch-dry.

Monovar PU roof tile varnish is water-soluble and based on polyurethane resins, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Application of Monovar PU roof tile varnish:

Before applying the varnish, thoroughly clean the surface of any contaminants, such as moss, grease, and other deposits, and then leave it to dry completely. Do not apply the varnish in rainy weather or in direct sunlight. Monovar PU varnish can be applied at a temperature of at least 8°C and at a relative humidity not exceeding 90%.

Note: Monovar PU varnish should be applied to porous, absorbent roof tiles. The varnish should not be used on smooth roof tiles (e.g., relatively new ceramic tiles).
