Primer for fresh, damp concrete DoPox® HeavyBond 30-33 is a two-component, emission-free epoxy primer (0 VOC) from a Danish manufacturer, designed for priming substrates that require better preparation.
It is particularly recommended for priming concrete floors and:
HeavyBond 30-33 has very good adhesion to the above-mentioned substrates and can be used as a primer for surfaces intended for heavy mechanical traffic. It has very good flow properties, making it ideal for creating epoxy repair compounds with quartz. It does not contain VOCs. After curing, it is a 100% solid material.

* Concrete must be fully cured and free of water and liquids. It should also be insulated, i.e., not exposed to capillary action. This is particularly important for underground floors, where there may be significant and continuous moisture pressure. In the case of concrete on the ground, the potential moisture pressure is lower. Therefore, for example, in the case of terraces on the ground, HeavyBond 30-33 can be used directly, even on uninsulated concrete.
** For best results, the surface to be coated should be properly prepared by mechanically removing as much dirt as possible. If the primer is used on very dirty substrates, adhesion problems may occur.
Note: Epoxy primers such as HeavyBond 30-33 do not affect changes in concrete shrinkage. If a thick-film system is applied to a large concrete slab without sufficient expansion joints, this may lead to cracking of the resin on the surface. However, this does not change the fact that the primer will adhere well to the concrete.
