Decorative flakes scattered on resin floors improve the appearance of the floor and mask unevenness and imperfections in the substrate. Applying flakes also provides an additional anti-slip effect. The flakes can be used both indoors on epoxy floors and outdoors on polyurethane floors. Ideal for use in garages, basements, and terraces.
How to use:
One package of decorative flakes is sufficient for approximately 30 m² (0.5 kg). The package should be divided into 10-12 equal parts for even distribution of the flakes. The flakes should be applied immediately after painting 2.5 m² onto the wet surface.
For additional surface protection and aesthetic value, the flakes should be finished with a highly resistant colorless polyurethane varnish (Hydrograff HP or P101 or Smoothcoat PU Matt). The above-mentioned varnishes form a coating that reduces the impact of moisture, UV radiation, temperature fluctuations, and other environmental factors. The two-component varnish protects the flakes from abrasion, dirt, and liquids.
Coverage: approx. 10-30 m²/0.5 kg package, depending on the desired density.
