Vapor-permeable epoxy paint - DoPox® AquaCoat 30-11
DoPox® AquaCoat 30-11 is a water-based, two- or three-component, highly vapor-permeable epoxy paint for floors and walls. It has breathable and water vapor-permeable properties, which prevent delamination of the coating and the formation of blisters.
The paint can be applied to old, seasoned, as well as fresh and/or damp concrete (7 days) and cement substrates.
The vapor-permeable paint is available in two versions:
- 30-11 SL - three-component, self-leveling, smooth, approx. 1-2 mm thick, designed for very heavy forklift traffic - multiple forklifts up to 24 hours a day,
- 30-11 - two-component, roller-applied, approx. 0.1-1 mm thick, designed for pedestrian traffic, cars or forklifts with high intensity - several forklifts up to 24 hours a day (depending on the system).
The vapor-permeable paint does not contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC = 0 g/l) and is safe for the applicator. It is ideal for protecting floors and walls indoors, both in basements and garages, as well as in industrial facilities, agriculture, etc.
Consumption: 0.2 kg/m² per coat

High vapor permeability - microporous coatings formed during the curing process breathe and allow water vapor to pass through, enabling application on substrates with increased moisture content.

Safe product - the resin is water-soluble, contains no VOCs (0 g/l) or solvents, and therefore does not emit unpleasant odors during application.
Key properties:
Vapor permeability and mechanical resistance
Versatility
- allows water to be added to adjust the flowability,
- can be applied in several layers to increase the
thickness of the coating, - perfect for painting floors and walls in basements, garages, parking lots, etc.
Application
Safety
- does not contain VOCs (0 g/l),
so it does not emit unpleasant odors during application, - does not contain solvents
the product is non-flammable during application.
Anti-slip properties
- system: AquaCoat 30-11 + NS 200 anti-slip additive has been tested for slip resistance in accordance with PN-EN 13036-4 (check the certificate):
- PTV in dry conditions: 72,
- PTV in wet conditions: 64,
- R: R12.
An additional advantage of AquaCoat 30-11 vapor-permeable paint is the possibility of adding water to adjust its flowability. This makes it possible to apply the first coat as a primer. Usually, the amount of water added is 20-30%, depending on the required flowability. The second coat can be applied without adding water or with 5% added (see systems).
High vapor permeability paint:
Thanks to its very high vapor permeability, work can begin as soon as the concrete is hard enough to be properly prepared for the application of AquaCoat 30-11 vapor-permeable epoxy paint, i.e., sanded, shot blasted, etc. As a rule, however, for safety reasons, we recommend waiting 7 days after pouring the concrete before applying the system.
If you need to apply the system sooner, please contact us.

Vapor-permeable paint tested in accordance with PN-EN 13036-4:
In independent tests, the AquaCoat 30-11 vapor-permeable paint anti-slip system for medium loads achieved a pendulum roughness index (PTV) of 72 in dry conditions and 64 in wet conditions. Guidelines in the UK recommend a PTV value of 36 in dry conditions and in wet and contaminated conditions.
