Hydropox + NS anti-slip floor
Hydropox + NS anti-slip flooring is a combination of durable, two-component epoxy resin and NS 200 anti-slip additive.
The system has very good chemical, mechanical, and abrasion resistance. It is suitable for use in car repair shops, car washes, parking lots, garages, exhibition halls, and halls with medium forklift traffic.
The Hydropox + NS anti-slip floor creates a durable, strong, rough anti-slip finish with an irregular structure. It has been tested for slip resistance in accordance with PN-EN 13036-4 and has achieved a PTV rating of 68 in wet conditions, R12 - see certificate.
Hydropox + NS non-slip flooring is water-soluble, safe, and almost odorless during application - VOC: 0 g/l. It is certified by the National Institute of Hygiene for use in public buildings and food production facilities. It is also suitable for use in the food industry - it is certified for contact with food.
Coverage: 5-6 m²/kg for a single coat

Key features:
Product characteristics
- two-component (2k), water dispersion of epoxy resins,
+ NS 200 anti-slip additive.
Anti-slip properties and resistance
- very good anti-slip properties,
- tested for slip resistance in accordance with PN-EN 13036-4 (see certificate):
- PTV in dry conditions: 77,
- PTV in wet conditions: 68,
- R: R12,
- suitable for car traffic and light to medium
forklift traffic, - highly chemically resistant,
see chemical resistance chart, - resistant to temperatures of
80°C in dry environments.
Aesthetics
- creates a rough, irregular, satin non-slip finish,
- available in a wide range of colors from the RAL and
NCS palettes, - reduced washability,
non-slip finishes get dirtier than smooth finishes.
Application and safety
- safe, virtually odorless during application,
VOC: 0 g/l, - approved for contact with food,
check the Gent certificate, - suitable for protecting floors and walls in food production areas,
check the PZH hygiene certificate, - for best results,
we suggest using a nylon roller for epoxy paints - 14 mm, - for indoor use (for outdoor applications,
Hydropox resin should be covered with Hydrograff HP polyurethane topcoat to protect the color).
Application:
Hydropox + NS non-slip flooring is suitable for protecting floors in: car repair shops, car washes, indoor parking lots, garages, workshops, showrooms, warehouses with medium forklift traffic (several forklifts operating up to 8 hours a day - for heavier floor use, we recommend using ProFloor Plus non-slip coating).
Hydropox + NS non-slip flooring tested in accordance with PN-EN 13036-4:
System: Hydropox + NS 200 anti-slip additive + Hydropox was tested for slip resistance in accordance with PN-EN 13036-4 and obtained a pendulum roughness index (PTV) of 75 in dry conditions and 66 in wet conditions. R12. Guidelines in the United Kingdom recommend a PTV value of 36 in dry conditions and in wet and contaminated conditions.

It is possible to obtain an even stronger or weaker, more delicate anti-slip finish by replacing the NS 200 additive with one of the following:
- NS 300 - granulation 0.5 - 1.0 mm - very strong anti-slip effect, poor washability;
- Ultra Wear 400 - granulation below 0.1 mm - light anti-slip effect, very good washability;
This additive is especially recommended for dry rooms, e.g., bakeries with spilled flour. Due to its low granulation, the additive is not recommended in areas exposed to spilled water, oil, etc.
The photo on the right shows a comparison of anti-slip additives.

Comments:
Why does the can say that the paint weighs only 0.99 kg, 0.97 kg, or 0.93 kg?
The total weight of the paint consists of the weight of the base and the weight of the pigment.
- The weight of the base for a 1 kg package is as follows: base A 0.99 kg, base B 0.97 kg, base C 0.93 kg.
- The weight of the pigment for a 1 kg package:
- for light colors (base A and B), approx. 1-5% pigment is added,
- for dark colors (base C), approx. 5-10% pigment is added.
The total weight depends on the color, but is very close to 1 kg.
The exact weight of a 1 kg package, depending on the color, is presented in the table on the right/below.
The volume of 4 kg and 15 kg packages varies accordingly.
