Metal Unicoat is a single-component, water-soluble anti-corrosive paint for protecting cast iron and steel. The paint formula is based on a styrene-acrylic copolymer and zinc phosphate. The paint can be used as a single-coat system – both as a topcoat and/or primer.
Metal Unicoat renovation paint was developed using the same technology as Elastometal anti-corrosive paint.

Metal Unicoat anti-corrosive renovation paint has very good adhesion to most substrates and can be applied directly to metal, old paint coatings, slightly corroded steel, seasoned zinc (min. 1 year), etc. (for new zinc and aluminum, check Multiprim paint). Metal Unicoat has high flow properties and provides an aesthetic finish when applied by airless spray, brush, or roller.
Why does the can say that the paint is only 0.99 l, 0.97 l, or 0.93 l?
The total volume of paint consists of the volume of the base and the volume of the pigment.
The total volume depends on the color, but is very close to 1 l.
The exact volume of a 1 l package, depending on the color, is presented in the table on the right/below.
The volume of 5-liter and 20-liter packages varies accordingly.
