Monovar PU is a modern, single-component, water-soluble polyurethane varnish with high resistance to scratches and abrasion. The varnish is very hard, dries quickly (touch dry in just 2 hours) and has excellent resistance to moisture and UV radiation. It does not yellow or change the color of the substrate. It is easy to apply and does not usually leave streaks. It creates an easily washable, easy-to-clean, aesthetic finish.

Applying paints and varnishes to outdoor concrete is not easy. Monovar PU varnish must be applied to a dry, well-prepared substrate. Otherwise, water stagnation penetrating through the varnish into the concrete may, after turning into vapor, cause it to detach. For the above reasons, Monovar PU is best used on Elastodeck terrace waterproofing.
