Rust-Oleum 1085 single-component cold galvanizing paint is a fast-drying, zinc-rich (up to 90% zinc) epoxy resin-based paint. Cold galvanizing 1085 provides galvanic protection and gives the coating very high corrosion resistance. The product contains pure zinc as a pigment and provides cathodic protection. 

Typical applications for Galva Zinc 1085 zinc paint include: welded joints, handrails, pipes, tanks, gutters, trailers, fences, bridges, walls, etc.

Galva Zinc 1085 zinc paint - key properties:

• contains 90% zinc in the dry paint layer
• offers durable cathodic protection
• withstands 500 hours of salt spray testing (DIN 50.976)
• resistant to temperatures of 300°C (450°C for spray)
• ideal for small repairs to galvanized steel, welding scale, etc.
• drying time to touch is only 15 min. (10 min. for spray)
• can be used as a primer or final coat

Coverage:

• paint: 13 m^²/l = 4.7 m²/kg with a dry film thickness of 35 µm
• spray: 1.4 m^²/a^erosol with a dry film thickness of 35 µm
