Dampshield Q124 damp concrete primer is a two-component, high-strength primer based on epoxy resin. The primer is designed to protect damp and fresh concrete, which can have a moisture content of up to 90%. It adheres perfectly, seals the floor, and forces water to drain away. It can be applied to fresh concrete as early as three days after pouring.

Dampshield Q124 primer should not be used under water-based coatings such as Hydropox or Hydrograff HP.
Note: Epoxy primers such as Dampshield Q124 do not affect changes in concrete shrinkage. If a thick-film system is applied to a large concrete slab without sufficient expansion joints, this may lead to cracking of the resin on the surface. However, this does not change the fact that the primer will adhere well to the concrete.
